Duties: |
| Luna is seeking an IP Manager/Paralegal to provide support for corporate governance, regulatory and intellectual property matters. Patent agent or patent legal experience is valuable and could expand job responsibilities to include evaluation of patent prosecution, licensing opportunities and filing of provisional patent applications. This position will report to the General Counsel. |
Qualifications: |
Required:
• Direct experience managing a technology driven company’s IP portfolio
• Participate in the management and administration of Luna’s intellectual property including:
o Maintaining a portfolio of current patents and monitor applications and files.
o Managing NDAs.
o Managing invention disclosure process.
o Managing license portfolio, tracking patents, incoming and outgoing royalties and commercialization reports.
• Assist with corporate paralegal matters as needed, including processing documentation for transactions, etc.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with a variety of intellectual property concepts, practices and procedures.
Due to government contracting regulations, U.S. Citizenship is a firm requirement.
