| This job position will be responsible to the President to manage, direct and coordinate all activities for the company which has two operations - one based in Blacksburg, VA and the other in Texas. The GM will reside in the Blacksburg, VA location. This position will report to the President.
The GM will be responsible for the achievement of the company's goals, objectives and budgets for the operation in accordance with the Corporate Framework. The GM will effectively plan, direct, and coordinate all operational requirements including long term growth in accordance with the strategic plan. This will include the management, and P&L for our product operations, including marketing, sales, product development, engineering, manufacturing, customer service, and customer contract performance. The GM will implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures required to achieve the expected results and will meet all established business objectives. The GM will develop a yearly operational plan with comprehensive operational measurements to ensure compliance with the short and long term goals, schedules, and budgets. The GM will be responsible for the development of objectives for product-line growth through wise R&D investments to ensure strategic plan implementation. Through motivational techniques, delegation of appropriate authority and responsibilities to subordinate managers, the GM will manage and direct all business activities in the area of manufacturing, engineering, materials, sales, health and safety, human resources, information systems, finance and other functions required to operate the business. The GM will work closely with other BU and Division staff to coordinate field sales and business unit management to maximize growth and profitability of the overall business, including the efficient utilization of shared resources through coordination with other operations within the company.

Qualifications: |
| BS degree in engineering with a minimum of 15+ years' experience in related semi-conductor product line management, engineering, manufacturing program management or a similar discipline is required. An MBA desirable but not required. Prior MMIC experience and technical working knowledge is required. US Citizenship and the ability to achieve and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required. Leadership and excellent communication skills are essential.
