Senior Account Executive

Do you have a passion for digital media and advertising? Modea is searching for the next account services superstar to drive account related strategic initiatives. This position will direct the exploration of new digital campaigns for Modea's growing list of Fortune 1000 clients while also leading initiatives for landing and growing new accounts. The position is responsible for ensuring that account expectations are exceeded and all strategic initiatives related to an account are executed flawlessly.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Owner of assigned accounts, responsible for client and internal team management
* Ensure that strategy and account direction are on target and meet client defined goals
* Interface with clients to provide solutions, manage expectations, and ensure that these expectations are exceeded
* Collaborate with and manage clients to develop and build relationships
* Responsible for successfully delivering multiple ongoing engagements
* Initiate and manage effective relationships with developed leads on an ongoing basis
* Assist executive team in recommending and establishing strategic and / or tactical new business plans designed to achieve agency goals and objectives
* Present creative digital campaigns to current and potential clients
* Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on new market / business leads and opportunities
* Evaluate market research and adjust new business strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions
* Develop strategies for landing key prospects
* Generates new account opportunities to pitch
* Coordinate presentation/pitch approaches
* Responsible for leading account staff in evaluating and optimizing campaigns in the marketplace through key metrics analysis, traffic analysis, multivariate testing, etc.

Qualifications

* Minimum of 10 years of experience as an account executive or planner with experience leading client accounts with proven experience in digital
* Bachelors – MBA or Masters degree preferred
* Evidence of success in pitching big brand accounts, and landing them
* Thorough knowledge of sales, advertising, and digital media, including active participation in trade associations and deep knowledge of competitors
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
* Proven leadership abilities
* Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, such as trade journals, research reports, white papers and cross-tabulated survey data
* Ability to present in a manner that influences and leads others around a great idea
* Ability to see, communicate and implement on the brand level
* Ability to manage people and projects
* Able to communicate in a clear, coherent and professional manner
* Passion for being at the forefront of the discovery and research of new digital technologies and trends
* Innate curiosity and aptitude to learn about marketing, brands, advertising, communications, culture, people, etc.
* Creative and/or an appreciation for creativity
* Self-starter, goes above and beyond on tasks
* Ability to lead a room/team in thinking
