The BearingPoint Army Team is currently searching for a Solaris 10 System Administrator.
Location/s: Radford, VA; Richmond, VA; Washington DC
Relocation: No
Performance Profile:
Perform as a Unix System Administrator for multiple development, testing, and production environments running Solaris Unix 9 and 10. Experience applying security and vulnerability patching.
Position-specific Required Skills:
4+ years experience administering and maintaining multiple Unix OS servers in a high use and demand IT facility or enterprise data center.
4+ years experience in Solaris Unix 9 environment.
4+ years experience documenting processes and procedures.
4+ years experience with ITIL, CMM-I, and other IT industry standards.
Bachelor's degree
Security+ Certification
Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of attaining a Secret clearance.
Position-specific Desired Skills:
Experience in Solaris 10 environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to recommend alternative configurations for efficiency.
Logistics:
No travel required. All work performed onsite in Radford VA.
