Person should have a solid background in all flavors of the Microsoft Operating Systems which include Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 with at least several years of actual working with the Operating Systems. This person should also have a very good understanding of VMWare and how it functions in a large Data Center environment. Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and WINS would be a plus. Working knowledge of all hardware platforms such as Dell, IBM and HP server lines would be great.
Person should have an extensive background in Storage Area Networks with preference being given to those with a EMC background with experience or at least working knowledge of how SANs work and function at the mid to high end of SANs. Knowledge of DMX and Clarion lines of EMC storage would be great. Knowledge of the software products such as ECC, SRDF, Control Center would be a plus in this environment.
