| Performs systems installations, conducts training, and provides technical support for customers. |
Duties: |
Performs system installations and training
Consults with customers concerning the most effective use of the software
Provides hotline support to customers
Provides support to customers through on-site visits, workshops, and users group meetings
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves software errors
Prepares system administration documentation
Design and development of customized webpages |
Qualifications: |
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related curriculum.
Minimum
Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS databases
Knowledge of UNIX
Motivated and service oriented
Excellent trouble-shooting skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willing to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred
Knowledge of SQL or other relational databases
Experience in systems support/service
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP or Java
Experience with webpage design and development
Experience with library systems administration |
